ALEXANDRIA INDUSTRIES — The custom components manufacturer in Alexandria, Minn., named Todd McChesney business development director.

AMAPLAST — The trade group in Assago, Italy, named Massimo Margaglione president.

AMERICAN CHEMISTRY COUNCIL — Rudy Underwood, the state affairs and political mobilization vice president of the trade group in Washington, plans to retire at the end of the year.

ASAHI/AMERICA INC. — The corrosion-resistant thermoplastic fluid flow equipment provider in Lawrence, Mass., named Edwina Merin Johns valve and actuation product manager and Brian Zagrodny national sales manager for fabricated products.

ASSOCIACIÓN ARGENTINA DEL PVC — The trade group in Buenos Aires, Argentina, named Alexandre de Castro president. De Castro is also president of Instituto Brasileiro do PVC.

ASTM INTERNATIONAL — The standards development firm in West Conshohocken, Pa., has awarded its Frank W. Reinhart and Henry "Butch" Kuhlman Award to Bryan E. Hauger, president of both Bryan Hauger Consulting and Extrusion Consulting.

BRAVEN ENVIRONMENTAL LLC — The developer of waste plastics pyrolysis processing solutions in Yonkers, N.Y., named Chad Huovie development director.

BRITISH PLASTICS FEDERATION — The trade group in London named Jo Davis education and skills chair.

BURGER AND BROWN ENGINEERING INC. — The injection molding accessories supplier in Grandview, Mo., named Corey Brown CEO, succeeding his father, Mark, who has retired.

CHROMA TECHNOLOGY CORP. — Prisca Liberali, of the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research in Basel, Switzerland, was presented the Anne Heidenthal Prize for Fluorescence Research award. The optical filter manufacturer, based in Bellows Falls, Vt., gives this prize to young scientists who present extraordinary research in the field of fluorescence imaging.

ENGEL AUSTRIA GMBH — The maker of injection molding machines in Schwertberg, Austria, named Anders Nybäck lead of its Technical Moulding and Teletronics business unit.

ENSINGER INC. — The sheet, shapes and profiles maker in Washington, Pa., named Eric Trimble industry segment manager, aerospace.

FANUC EUROPE — The robotics company in Coventry, England, named Marco Ghirardello CEO and president, succeeding Shinichi Tanzawa.

HAGANS PLASTICS CO. INC. — Dennis Hagan, owner and president of the thermoformer in Grand Prairie, Texas, was named Thermoformer of the Year by the Society of Plastics Engineers' thermoforming division.

KRATON CORP. — The specialty chemicals company in Houston named Marcello Boldrini CEO.
